Gallery Manager

Hudson Milliner Art Salon

The Hudson Milliner Art Salon is looking for a creative, organized Gallery Manager to help run our gallery and events space. The position combines gallery operations, exhibition support, administrative support, communications, and creative production. This is an entry-level role.

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate, current college student, or early-career professional with an understanding of fine arts, culture, and associated spaces. Motivated candidates will find plenty of opportunities for growth, including additional curatorial opportunities, artist-specific opportunities, and greater administrative authority.

Schedule

  • The typical schedule for this role is Friday - Sunday, 12 - 6 p.m. with some flexibility. Those interested can take on additional hours during the week for exhibition prep or other busy periods.

  • This generally means 18 hours per week. If interested, one may receive 20 - 25 hours per week or even 30 hours per week in the most exceptional situations.

Interested candidates may apply via an aggregate or directly via email to info@hudsonmillinerartsalon.com.

We encourage candidates to send a brief note about their interest in this role and (non-professional) background. Tell us about your creations and personal projects. If you have a niche interest you’d like to share, great: we’d love to see it.
