Responsibilities

Your core mission is to complete creative concepts, campaigns and graphic materials for the museum’s many departments. For print, you handle the process from design to print, and digitally submit completed web designs. You spend most of your time on:

Graphics and signs for Louisiana’s departments, events and exhibitions

Classic design and interest-rate assignments in line with Louisiana’s visual identity

  • have a well-developed sense of quality and a good graphic eye

  • love your craft and go into detail

  • have a positive, unpretentious and collaborative attitude, but are also a prominent self-starter

  • have a high work capacity and are ready for a varied work life that can be demanding at times

  • You can document your skills on both print and web. You are responsible, thorough and open in all professional communication. You have the courage to face all kinds of challenges and are used to independently solving design tasks for both print and web.

We have high expectations for you

  • You are one you can count on and when more balls are thrown in your direction, you understand how to work efficiently and prioritize. You exude kindness, are service minded and accommodating – no matter who you are facing.

  • If you can say yes to the above and you want a busy and fun job with good colleagues and exciting tasks, then you might be our new graphic designer.
