About Jupiter Rising

Described as a ā€˜powerful overview of cutting-edge music and performance,ā€™ Jupiter Rising is a weekend-long festival taking place with the iconic landscape of Jupiter Artland

ā€œJupiter Rising blossoms into its second year, proving itself an essential player in preserving, expanding and celebrating Scottish culture and arts.ā€ Bethany Davison, The Skinny

The festival programme brings together an inventive mix of live music, sound and performance, alongside programmes dedicated to artist-moving image, film, workshops for all ages, talks and discussions and site-specific installations. Set across 100 acres of woodland, meadows and lakes, campers can enjoy the delights of making Jupiter Artland their home for a weekend, with wild swimming, woodland dining and a great deal of dancing. A firmly independent and artist-driven festival, Jupiter Rising invites audiences to explore, discover and celebrate artists who transgress the traditional artistic boundaries, providing a platform for underground, emerging and international artists. Jupiter Rising evolved out of Romanti-Crash! in 2018 and Lunarnova Campout in 2017.
