We are looking for a positive sales associate with a passion for selling jewelry. Candidate must be outgoing, friendly, and experienced in retail sales.
Multitasking skills are important, as we are a small business where staff members are routinely expected to take care of all aspects of the business from polishing silver to taking in custom work.
We offer apprenticeship arrangement possibilities to candidates interested in long-term commitment and are not afraid of hard work.
There is plenty of room to grow in our company!
3 to 5 days a week with wage increases after a 3 month training period.
Dependent on the responsibilities you are willing and capable of taking on and of course many other factors like covering shifts, sales ability, etc.
Responsibilities
*Jewelry Sales
*Taking inventory
*Make adjustments to jewelry that customers might request on the spot
*Daily cleaning of cases
*Jewelry polishing
*Maintaining a clean workspace
*Taking in repairs
*Making jewelry for our in-house line
*Maintaining aspects of the owner’s jewelry line
Requirements
*2-4 years minimum retail experience
*Must have jewelry knowledge, or at least be fashion savvy and have a strong interest in jewelry design.
*Excellent customer service skills
*Motivated and results driven
*Attention to detail
*Must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which will include weekends and some holidays. Must be available three weeks before Christmas.
*Work well with others
*Takes direction from management/ owner.
*Able to stand for long periods of time
*Able to work under pressure
