ICA Miami is accepting applications for a high-performing Membership Coordinator with a demonstrated track record of coordinating a member program in a museum setting and using CRM systems to support fundraising and member activities. The Membership Coordinator will provide direct support to members and donors and steward these relationships in addition to managing the member database.

Responsibilities
  • Steward yearly membership plan to meet or exceed budget goals;

  • Coordinate and implement direct mail and online efforts for annual membership acquisition efforts;

  • Strategize with the marketing department to develop membership promotions and materials;

  • Assist with the execution of member events;

  • Assist with retention efforts by contacting current members who are approaching their annual renewal date;

  • Responsible for member data entry and database maintenance;

  • Responsible for initial new member communication;

  • Answer inquiries by e-mail, regular mail and telephone, providing follow-up as necessary and logging all calls from response to resolution;

  • Handle appropriate administrative duties for the department, including, but not limited to, filing and following up with communications to members;

  • Assist with recruitment of potential members by entering new prospect profiles from various resources in an effort to meet annual new member goals;

  • Process and reconcile renewal and new member payments;

  • Attend and staff, as part of a broader Development Team, events and functions throughout the year; and

  • Responsible for other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree;

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably coordinating a membership program for a museum or cultural organization;

  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills;

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal;

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment;

  • Experience with marketing efforts;

  • Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM system) required; and

  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends as required.
