High-end fine art storage & service company seeks professional office worker. Position will involve client correspondence, scheduling of shipments, generating and processing paperwork, preparing estimates for clients, and maintaining inventory database, as well as other various tasks. Excellent phone manner and e-mail correspondence are a must. Ideal candidate is highly organized, meticulous, recognizes priorities, and follows through on all tasks. Position necessitates the ability to learn quickly and manage time wisely. Applicant must be self-motivated and able to work independently in addition to being a contributing team player. Job parameters require that attention to detail and accuracy be consistently upheld. To excel in the operations department, it is expected that the individual demonstrate initiative and embrace added responsibility as the level of experience develops. Background in fine art and prior experience in a similar job capacity are preferred. Mac and Microsoft Office proficiency is required; knowledge of Filemaker Pro and Adobe software are a plus.
