Los Angeles artist studio is searching for a painting assistant to join our team. As an assistant you will participate in creating highly detailed photorealistic paintings that follow a rigid system which places oil painting front and center. As our process is very specific, a training period is factored in for any new hire.
Responsibilities
*Applicants must have a mastery of photo-realistic rendering and have familiarity in oil painting.
*Applicants must submit a portfolio of 5-10 work samples that specifically demonstrate an ability to render from photographic imagery.
*Applicants should have a basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
*Applicants should should have some art handling experience but it is not a necessity.
Requirements
Qualified candidates should possess a valid California Driver’s License and have reliable transportation.
Compensation will be based on the level of experience, technical ability and will be re-evaluated after a
90-day training period, unless otherwise agreed upon.
