Part-Time Studio Coordinator for Architecture & Interiors Firm

ORA is a woman-owned architecture and design firm located in downtown Los Angeles’ Arts District. We’re passionate about what we do, and we’re looking for an ambitious, curious, energetic Studio Coordinator who shares the same energy to help us keep our studio operating smoothly and efficiently.

This is a part-time (20-hours per week), in-person position. We will accommodate flex days/schedules based on your needs. We offer a competitive salary that’s commensurate with skills and experience. Our part-time employee benefits package includes paid PTO and Holidays and annual education stipend, and performance bonus.

Responsibilities

Administration

  • Oversee studio, visitor and client hospitality

  • Maintain an organized and orderly office

  • Manage office calendar, studio events, vendor presentations and field trips

  • Liaise with consultants, industry professionals, contractors and vendors

Project Coordination

  • Support design staff with administrative business requests

  • Assist with project materials pick-up/delivery coordination

  • Liaise with product reps and vendors based on staff requests

  • Manage industry trade accounts

  • Schedule continuing education lunch & learns

Finance

  • Assist finance consultant with accounts payable/receivable

  • Assist with employee timesheet and reimbursable expenses delivery process

  • Assist with business taxes, insurances, licenses and memberships renewals

Human Resources

  • Assist with employee on-boarding and off-boarding

  • Support employee reviews and appraisals

Marketing & Business Development

  • Assist with administrative aspects of marketing/business development initiatives

  • Liaise with Business Development and PR firm as needed

  • Assist with CRM database

Requirements

  • Initiate tasks and perform duties with minimal direction

  • Detail-oriented with a meticulous eye for editing and consistency

  • Effectively follow instructions, organize, set priorities, and meet deadlines

  • Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience in the arts, creative or professional services industries, where you’ve demonstrated and enjoyed similar responsibilities

  • Excellent computer skills, with expertise in Google Workplace, Adobe Reader & MS Office applications

  • Adobe Photoshop and InDesign skills are a plus
