Graphic Designer for Print Design and Catalog Creation at Heritage Auctions

Heritage Auctions is seeking a seasoned Graphic Designer to join our Design Team within the Marketing Department at our Dallas, Texas office. This in-house position necessitates on-site attendance and is not conducive to remote working arrangements. Leading the design and layout of auction catalogs, which constitute 70% of your role, orchestrating catalogs spanning 100 to 400+ pages.

Devoting 30% of your time to the design and execution of print ads for various publications, direct mail campaigns, brochures, and other marketing collateral.

A result-oriented, reliable self-starter who thrives in meeting deadlines.

Proficient in independent work, exhibiting meticulous attention to detail.

Adept at managing a substantial volume of projects with overlapping deadlines; showcasing an aptitude for prioritizing tasks deftly.

A strong collaborator with exceptional interpersonal skills.

Willingness to work overtime (with remuneration) during weeknights and weekends as needed to adhere to tight deadlines.

A rich portfolio demonstrating a wide spectrum of work is imperative for consideration.

7+ years of robust experience in graphic design for print, complemented with profound pre-press knowledge.

Degree in Marketing, Design, Communications or related field, a plus.

Stellar aesthetic design ability, showcased through exceptional typography, image layout, and color utilization skills.

Advanced proficiency in Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Capability to swiftly and precisely execute multi-page projects like catalogs, books, magazines, and brochures; transcending mere logos or single-page flyers.

Aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues pertinent to design and production.

Ability to sketch preliminary thumbnails or conceptual drafts.

Proficiency in color correction, graphic preparation for print, and proofing bluelines.
