Primary job responsibilities include:

• Coordinate and facilitate the installation and de-installation of exhibitions.

• Oversee and facilitate the care and maintenance of artworks, including packing, maintaining an inventory of tools and packing materials, conducting incoming and outgoing condition inspections, and managing on-site and off-site storage.

• Coordinate local, domestic, and international shipments in accordance with customs and tax requirements, including the creation and retention of necessary documents.

• Create, organize, file, and provide to various parties, certificates of insurance, certificates of authenticity, installation manuals/documents, release forms, and other documents.

• Draft and oversee consignment and loan agreements.

• Maintain proper database management, in accordance with these duties.

• Liaison with artists, clients, galleries, and institutions to facilitate these duties.

• Assist with general, daily gallery needs as necessary.

Qualifications include:

• B.A. or B.F.A., or equivalent experience in the field.

• At least two-three years of professional art handling and registrial experience in a gallery setting is a must.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ArtBase or similar digital art database, and Adobe Suite.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interest in and knowledge of contemporary art.

• Availability to work Wednesday through Sunday from 10AM-6PM, with flexibility.
