Venus Over Manhattan is seeking a Research Associate who can oversee the cataloguing, database management and organization of information related to the gallery’s artists and program as well as ongoing catalogue raisonné efforts. The applicant should have significant experience in a gallery or museum position.

• At least 4 years experience at a high profile contemporary art gallery, museum or artist estate

• Professional demeanor and knowledge of foreign languages a plus

• Excellent written and communication skills

• Bachelor’s degree

• Exceptional organization, time management, and attention to detail

• Familiarity with Art Base, ArtLogic, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites

Position hours are from Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM with some additional hours as needed. Salary commensurate based upon experience.
