Morrow Soft Goods is a Los Angeles-based, specialty home textile company that designs, manufactures and sells premium soft goods (bedding, throw pillows, blankets, rugs, etc.). Passionate about design, feel and durability, we draw design inspiration from around the world and work with ethical suppliers to produce the highest quality, sustainably produced products. We launched in October 2016 and are a small team.
We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate / Keyholder to join us for the opening of our first pop-up store, and possibly longer. This is a unique opportunity to work with our whole team and a collaborating furniture company as well. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, interiors and home decor and will be enthusiastic and confident with customers. We are looking for someone personable and extroverted who is well organized, detail oriented and a quick learner.
Responsibilities
Develop an expert knowledge of the product catalog. - Must be able to correctly identify and understand all the items in store and online, including colors, materials, care instructions, etc., and communicate this knowledge to interested customers. - Maintain and uphold visual standards as directed on the sales floor and in back-of-house area. This includes organizing and restocking inventory and general tidiness and cleanliness. - Operate POS system and process orders. Previous experience with Shopify is preferred but not required. - Manage store phone including answering calls and messages. - Assist with other tasks as needed.

We are looking for someone personable and extroverted who is well organized, detail oriented and a quick learner. -Responsible, honest and trustworthy. -Reliable, punctual and committed. -Open minded approach to problem solving and a collaborative, adaptable nature. - Quick learner with an ability to recall facts and details. - Great attitude and responsible, professional conduct. - Able to initiate and carry conversation with ease. - Comfortable working independently in store or with a team. - Previous retail experience is preferred but not required. - Physically be able to reach overhead, bend, lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs. - Interested in interiors, home decor and working in a design-driven environment. - Consistent availability from Thurdsay – Sunday, 11am – 5pm, through December 31, 2022, with potential for longer.
