The Senior Account Executive works in the fast-paced media relations team to advance FITZ & CO’s network of international clients. Responsibilities include leading and managing client accounts independently. The Senior Account Executive builds strong client relationships beyond the life of a single project by communicating clearly, managing expectations and delivering results. The Senior Account Executive has supervisory responsibility on accounts for a team comprised of account executives, account coordinators, and interns. Additionally, the Senior Account Executive, in collaboration with the CEO and the senior team, will develop distinct and effective new business proposals for the firm.
Working Conditions: Work is performed in FITZ & CO’s New York office. Due to COVID, we are currently working from home. Once health and safety restrictions allow, the Senior Account Executive will be expected to travel to domestic and international client events; and, on occasion, service clients’ crisis communications needs outside of regular working hours. Because we work across time zones, the Senior Account Executive is required to be available before and after normal office hours (M-F, 10-6) and occasionally on weekends. Every member of the FITZ & CO team must adopt and make daily use of office systems such as time tracking (Harvest), Dropbox and the CRM (currently Salesforce and Cision).
