Senior Digital Marketing Executive (12m FTC)
Penguin Random House UK
We make books for everyone, because a book can change anyone. Our creativity is inspired by different perspectives, so we want our culture to be one of belonging, where everyone feels welcome and where differences are celebrated.
Can you create engaging and innovate marketing campaigns that build brand communities and generate results? Do you have a passion for books and children’s entertainment?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Digital Marketing Executive to join the Penguin Random House Children’s team on a 12m FTC basis. You’ll help to deliver our community engagement strategies across online channels; including social media and newsletters to grow, deepen and retain our consumer brand audiences, promote book sales, and ensure that ambitious growth is placed firmly at the heart of everything we do.
We publish some of the world’s biggest and best-known authors and brands: from Roald Dahl to Peppa Pig. We pride ourselves on our innovation and we put consumers at the heart of everything we do. Our world is changing. Fast. This means that we want to work with a wide range of talent as we find new ways to tell our stories. That is where you come in. We want to hear from different voices and see from fresh perspectives.
Whilst there is no need for formal qualifications or previous experience in publishing, we are looking for someone who can:
Work across Puffin and Ladybird campaigns to raise awareness and build engagement with audiences across our brand-led online channels.
Help drive effective community management across the social media channels, working closely with the Social Media Team.
Be creative and analytical to help deliver projects and initiatives online to help build brand audiences, from podcasts to video.
Manage end-to-end email campaigns, including planning, copywriting and set-up to engage audiences.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
A creative, strategic and commercial approach
Excellent communication and project management skills
A proven track record in successfully creating and managing online marketing campaigns, supporting social media communities, as well as experience across brand newsletters and initiatives to help successfully drive awareness and engagement, ideally for a well-known brand.
Broad market awareness within children’s media and family brands space, as well as developments and trends across online marketing, social media and brand.
