Rest Energy is a Los Angeles-based furniture design practice. Additionally, under the same roof we are Rest Fabrication— millwork & art services.

We are looking to bring in a shop assistant. In this role you will learn not only about how a small & scrappy new design practice operates, but also real skills when it comes to fabrication and running a small business. There might be days that will be mundane— sanding, helping load/unload, etc. But it’s our goal that this be an enriching experience for us both. We’re looking for someone that is eager to learn more about furniture design and fabrication. No experience necessary, but someone who is hardworking, humble, and generally has a good attitude. Running mid May-Aug (to start) at least one day a week (flexible).
