The Social Media Manager will create compelling social and digital storytelling that reflects the dynamic work of an accomplished installation artist. This person will be responsible for managing all official social media channels and ideating, planning, and implementing social media strategies and coverage. There are more than 1 million followers across the accounts, so this person should have extensive experience in professional social media management with large accounts.

You will be working directly with the artist and her production team in Los Angeles. We’re looking for a creative, motivated, detail-oriented individual to fill an integral role on the team. This is a great opportunity for a visionary and data-driven individual in a small creative environment. This role is 100% remote with occasionally scheduled zoom meetings during office hours. This role may have some aspects of being on-call outside of normal business hours, as is the nature of social media management.

Responsibilities

Social media management and content creation:

  • Schedule and monitor all social media feeds:

  • Twitter

  • Instagram

  • TikTok

  • Facebook

  • Respond to messages and comments in a timely fashion

  • Assure the growth of each channel month over month

  • Curate high-performing content for different channels

  • Graphic design and other forms of online visual announcements

  • Copywriting

  • Light video editing

Strategy and Analytics:

  • Conceptualize campaign ideas, be on top of what’s trending, come up with ideas for content that would be timely to post.

  • Create new procedures as data recommends that assures we’re utilizing the best content across our visual platforms

  • Suggest new ways to boost engagement and stay up to date with changes in the algorithm.

  • Prepare monthly analytics reports.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with professional social media management

  • Experience with scheduling software like Planoly or Hootsuite

  • Twitter Ad and Instagram Ad experience

  • Proven track record of growth through visual platforms

  • Excellent copywriting, ghostwriting, and graphic design experience

  • Strong video creation and editing abilities

  • Effective and open communication

  • Familiarity with branding in the art space or with a luxury product is a plus
