We produce rigorously-conceived, exquisitely-realized, internationally-exhibited sculptures via a complex synthesis of advanced technologies and traditional processes. We are seeking experienced sculptors / fabricators for full-time work.
We have developed very specific techniques to produce our sculptures. We will train qualified carvers in the tooling that we use.
We are a growing studio seeking individuals for long-term employment. We are looking to expand our permanent professional staff. There is possibility for advancement.
Responsibilities
An applicant should have the following qualities:
able to sculpt subtractively (carve) to match existing models
an exacting and energetic personality
a meticulous eye for form and detail
excellent manual dexterity
the ability to stay focused for extended periods of time
the capacity to work alone or in small groups
the capability to take instruction and learn quickly
self-motivation and the propensity to take initiative
Requirements
Other beneficial experience (not required):
stone carving / finishing
woodworking
metal chasing
moldmaking / casting
machining
general fabricating
