Position Purpose: This position supports the success of the company by maintaining the studio’s financial and operational infrastructure, ensuring the studio runs smoothly in the day-to-day as well as looking forward.

Responsibilities

Some Essential Functions Include:

  • Oversees the coordination of the studio email

  • Maintains the office schedule via Google Calendar, ClickUp

  • Provides tech support and implements systems for ongoing efficiency

  • Manages software accounts and licenses

  • Works to implement and maintain established standards across all files

  • Creates weekly, monthly and quarterly Financial Reports for the office

  • Assists with tax preparation

  • Processes payroll bi-weekly, and manages all payroll and benefits service provider’s coordination

  • Oversees big picture financial tracking for each project on behalf of the client and our internal team

  • Invoices clients monthly

  • Processes personnel through onboarding and separation procedures

  • Respond to new project inquiries and onboard new clients

  • Spearheads Resale Certificate implementation

  • Maintains Trade Accounts library

  • Assists in press outreach and facilitating marketing standards

  • Contributes to the overall culture and success of Emily Lindberg Design!

Requirements

Qualification Standards:

Minimum undergraduate degree in business management, accounting, or related field

Previous 8-10 years experience in management preferred

Interior and Architecture industry experience is a plus

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Quickbooks, Excel, Google Suites, and Adobe Acrobat

  • Experienced in Wix and InDesign is a plus

  • Willing and adept at learning new software

Soft Skills

  • Have an exceptional level of attention to detail and a mastery of organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service sensibilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Self-motivated to be proactive and attentive to the needs of the office

  • Desire to work in a team atmosphere, support your peers, and contribute to the culture, standards, and processes that make ELD successful.

Physical Capabilities

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to perform daily tasks.

  • Requires writing, sitting, repetitive motions, bending, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity

  • Must be able to work well under pressure managing multiple deadlines.
