Artist studio looking for an experienced Sculpture Assistant/Fabricator, with a strong understanding and passion for materials as well as a commitment to craft. Must be able to take directions and work independently. Should be detail orientated, and ability to manage one’s own projects is a must.
Responsibilities will include woodworking, metal fabrication, welding, receiving deliveries, and shopping for materials.
You should be very comfortable to extremely skilled at working with wood and metal.

Excellent metal and wood working skills are essential.
Responsibilities include assisting the artist and the studio in all aspects of fabrication and production.

Requirements
Experience working in a shop or studio environment
Experience in fabricating furniture or sculpture, including tig welding, metal finishing, wood working.
Candidates should be able to manage their own projects from ordering materials to completion.
