DVLPR is seeking a motivated part-time Studio Manager & PA for our growing studio in New York to start as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate should be interested in joining a small studio for architecture and art, and participating in its growth while helping to navigate exceptional opportunities. The ideal candidate has experience working in architecture and / or art studios (or similar) and a has good knowledge of significant contemporary practices.

Responsibilities

STUDIO MANAGER & PA

  • Strong interest in architecture, art, and academia. A deep knowledge of significant contemporary practices is plus

  • Assist the studio in prioritizing projects and opportunities

  • Manage weekly schedule to address and prioritize current commissions and special projects including architecture, art, writing, and teaching materials

  • Interest in helping build the studio infrastructure for growth

  • Participate in staffing discussions, update and post job descriptions, review and manage applications

  • Participate in marketing related tasks including social

  • Assist with invoices and finances

  • Attend select meetings and prepare meeting notes

  • Assist the studio with correspondence as needed

  • Excellent diplomatic and communication skills

  • Manage office inventory, supplies, and organization

  • Assist with production strategy for sculpture, models, drawings

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year in a studio manager role in an architecture or established art studio (or similar)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree

  • Able to prioritize tasks and multi-task quickly and efficiently

  • Able to define problems, communicate issues, and use discretion

  • Able to make a project schedule / strategize and oversee it’s implementation

  • Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and Google Software. Some knowledge of Architectural software (AutoCAD, Rhino) is a plus

The ideal candidate is an organized, detail oriented professional with exceptional communication skills. You should be able to oversee multiple short and long-term tasks
