Technical Product Designer

Henrii

We are seeking a Technical Product Designer, a disciplined engineer, fabricator, or designer with a steady hand, a discerning eye, and a passion for the structural architecture of craft.

This role is both a place of innovation and a path to technical mastery. You will work alongside experienced our designers and artisans, guiding the process of transforming raw hardware, electronics, and structural components into handcrafted luxury objects. From the precise CAD drafting of custom backplates and knobs to the intricate wiring of high-end lighting and the engineering of large-scale furniture, you will play a vital role in shaping the mechanical foundation of our creations. Your work ensures each piece reflects both structural integrity and seamless aesthetic intention by bridging the gap between a designer’s vision and a finished, functional piece.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Engineering: Design and develop custom hardware, backplates, and mounting systems using CAD (Fusion 360, Rhino, or SolidWorks).

Electrical Execution: Lead the wiring and assembly of all lighting fixtures, ensuring a high-end finish and strict adherence to safety standards.

Multi-Material Integration: Engineer structural frameworks to safely marry ceramic and glass elements with metal, wood, and mirrors for mutliple furniture verticals.

Process Documentation: Maintain a workspace rooted in order and document technical specs to ensure production consistency.

Quality Assurance: Embody the values of craftsmanship and integrity, conducting safety and pull tests on all outgoing functional pieces.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

CAD Proficiency: Strong experience in digital drafting and 3D modeling for manufacturing (CNC, Waterjet, 3D printing).

Mechanical Aptitude: Deep understanding of hardware, joinery, and the structural properties of diverse materials.

Electrical Knowledge: Demonstrated experience in lamp wiring, electrical components, and UL-standard assembly.

Manual Dexterity: Refined eye-hand coordination for the assembly of small, delicate components and complex internal systems.

A Keen Eye for Detail: Ability to carefully execute with a high level of precision and a commitment to maintaining aesthetic consistency across pieces.

Problem Solving: A quiet attentiveness to technical challenges and an openness to finding elegant solutions for complex builds.

Who Thrives in This Role:

This role is designed for those who wish to grow quickly within a studio that values depth over trend and quality over convenience. We seek individuals who hold reverence for craft, and who understand that the invisible mechanics of a piece are just as important as its outward beauty.

You will thrive here if you want to work in an environment where technique becomes expression, and where growth is measured not just in technical skill, but in artistic sensibility.
