SUMMARY: Responsible for writing accurate descriptions of fine timepieces including, antique pocket watches, vintage wristwatches, and high-end modern watches

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create thorough, detailed catalog descriptions of timepieces
Effectively research and make inquiries necessary to gather and confirm factual information for descriptions
Work with prospective bidders to help answer questions about lots as potential purchases
Review images for catalog production
Travel possible for auctions
Other related duties may be assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of experience as a watch dealer and/or in a major auction house working environment with a focus on watches and fine timepieces
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Word and Excel
Ability to multitask and pay great attention to detail
Must have a positive attitude with exceptional customer service
