SUMMARY: Manage day-to-day operations, logistics execution for in-bound and out-bound wine, great customer service, and all tasks related to pre and post auction.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage a staff of 4-6 operations employees
Coordinate shipping and receiving of all inbound wine consignments as well as all outbound wine invoices.
Assist with customer services questions and troubleshoot shipping and delivery scenarios
May travel occasionally to pick up higher value collections
Assist inventory team with assembling the sales and outbound team with pulling invoices when necessary
Oversee training of all new staff
Maintain accurate inventory and perform quarterly property audits
Communicate with Management monthly regarding project progress, support needs, logistical solutions, etc.
Ensure deadlines are met by monitoring operational progress and anticipating the workload
Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Operations management experience a must. Wine knowledge not mandatory however an interest in wine is highly recommended.
SKILLS & ABILITIES: Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), be highly detail-oriented, have a very high level of service and interaction with clients, a history of follow-through and be very creative at finding logistical solutions.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS: Valid Driver License.
