The Perrotin Gallery is looking for a Senior International Transport Manager in charge of transport organization in France and abroad for our projects, exhibitions and sales. We are looking for someone experienced in the organization of international art transport, with a great sense of service and results oriented.
Responsibilities
Processing requests from the different services of the gallery
Organization of simple transport and / or groupage abroad (import/export) and customs formalities
Transport organization France
RFQ, negotiation and comparative summary
Definition and optimization of needs (packaging, human and technical resources)
Anticipation and optimization of transport schedules and internal physical operations requirements
Realization of report of state, plan of assembly, list of colisation and plan of assembly
Coordination and supervision of physical operations
Follow-up of the flow of the works and constantly ensure the good location of the works
Update of information and logistic transport documents on the database
Application for insurance cover and claims management
Customs management import / export / temporary / fine - art / Others
Apply and monitor the procedures in place
Request for validation of expenses and regular point with your manager
Optimization of transportation purchases and expenditure seizures
Archives Management
Requirements
Level BAC +3 minimum: International Trade / International Transport / Management / Law
Technical expertise in the management of works of art (packaging, storage and transport)
Good knowledge of customs standards in the art market
Sense of organization, coordination and anticipation
You show rigor and spirit of synthesis
Ability to propose solutions and autonomy
Ability to solve problems easily and quickly
Sense of teamwork
Flexibility to adapt to frequent changes related to the imperatives of the gallery
Mastery of the MAC environment; Microsoft Office including: Word, Excel,
You are fluent in French and English (written and oral)
Oral and editorial
Familiarity
Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop would be a plus
You have a successful experience in the field of art transportation or gallery management
Remuneration

- Test in CDD of 4 renewable followed by a CDI
