SCAD seeks an Art Preparator for the Savannah location. In this role, you will report to the chief art preparator and be responsible for scheduling, dispatching and managing the art prep crew as well as packing, unpacking, hanging and installing artwork at SCAD Museum of Art, SCAD galleries and in university academic buildings. Additional responsibilities include regular maintenance of galleries, travel and other tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate has a valid driver’s license with a good driving history, the ability to drive a Class C truck and lift more than 50 pounds regularly, and experience using hand tools, power tools and shop equipment.

Requirements
Degree in art or art history field, B.F.A. preferred
Computer proficient on both Mac and PC platforms
Forklift and scissor lift experience preferred
