The Fondation Beyeler is one of the internationally renowned and most visited museums in Switzerland. The Fondation Beyeler is home to one of the world’s finest private collections and presents and continuously presents high-quality exhibitions of modern and contemporary art. In accordance with the the wishes of its founders, it is particularly committed to communicating art to the general public

public and to young people.

Our Art Shop carries a select assortment of books, posters, design objects and Art editions. For the consultation of customers, the sales, the administrative and logistic handling of the Art Editions in the areas of B2B / E-Commerce & Digital, we are looking for as of July 1, 2021 or by agreement, initially limited until the end of 2022, for an Art Editions Staff Member 60 % – 70 %.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic expansion of the B2B business

  • Establishment and expansion of a B2B customer base

  • Development of online store / e-commerce

  • Content for social media, newsletter, website

  • Ensuring sales promotion and marketing measures

  • Planning and implementation of documentation for prospective customers of Art Editions

  • Compiling relevant data for digital presentation in web store

  • Collaboration with the Art Shop management and the responsible curator in the procurement of image material and texts for the certificates of the Art Editions

  • Continuous growth of the Art Editions department

  • Expansion of customer segments

  • Deepening of commercialization & development of new sales channels

Requirements
  • Professional experience in a comparable function, preferably in the field of art and design (e.g. gallery business), experience in logistical issues or commercial training

  • Professional experience in e-commerce

  • Interest and enthusiasm for art, architecture and design

  • Very good user knowledge of the common office programs, of merchandise and management systems

  • German spoken and written, good knowledge of English and French

  • Independent, reliable and organized way of working, communicative ability, Flexibility and ability to work under pressure even under time pressure
