Cadogan Tate New York Limited has an exciting position available for an Art Handler / Installer. The essential duties of this role are to work on and off site delivering / collecting, handling, installing and packing art, antiques, furniture as required. We are looking for skilled Art Handlers and Art Installers, with truck driving experience.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role are:
The handling of art, antiquities and high end furniture using the appropriate materials and methods for packaging, loading and securing for safe transport
Installation of a wide range of art works in different environments
Ability to drive a box truck or willingness to learn
Familiarity with paperwork; Bills of Lading, Condition Reports, Inventory, Drivers Logs, etc.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role
Ability to communicate fluently in written and spoken English
Must be able to lift 70lbs
Ability to thrive in a busy environment
Experience driving a Box Truck in New York is a bonus
Professional appearance and demeanor
