We are seeking a safety-minded Art Handler / Non CDL Driver for full-time employment in our Los Angeles office to be a key contributor in assuring our services meet or exceed our customers’ expectations.

Position Summary

The function of an Art Handler / Non CDL Driver is a driving and customer service position, with an emphasis on reliability and determination. The responsibilities include operating box trucks and/or vans, safely loading and unloading cargo and/or fine art, and installing and handling cargo / fine art. The Art Handler / Non CDL Driver will demonstrate safe driving skills, strong leadership skills by taking the initiative, remain customer-focused, and display a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Job duties

Transport cargo, store cargo and installation of cargo / art.
Loading, handling & securing cargo/art
Assist with wrapping & packing.
Preparing paperwork / reports
Local truck driving, 18- and 22-foot box trucks (CDL is NOT required)

Qualifications

Ability to install on a variety of surfaces with various types of hardware.
Ability to work safely with hand-tools, matte knives, drill-gun, etc.
Experience in installation and working on-site.
2+ years of truck driving and a clean safety record & MVR.
Knowledge of cargo securement, safe handling practices, and experience with fragile cargo is a plus.
Minimum of high school or equivalent; minimum 21 years of age.
Punctual & presentable, good communications skills, legible handwriting.

Regular and predictable attendance
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds as part of the daily activity.
Ability to work extended periods of standing, bending, lifting and/or driving.
Ability to effectively communicate with others (verbally and in writing)
Ability to work in a fast paced and consistently busy environment.
Ability to problem solve and prioritize needs while on jobsites.
Drug Free environment / safe work environment
Full –time work – NOT gig work.

Job Location

Los Angeles, CA

Work hours: 8:30am to 5pm

Pay Range: $25 to $28 per hour DOE.
