Crate 88 is looking for a skilled art handler to join a well-established business with a culture of cooperation, independence and respect for employees. We are interested in thoughtful, intelligent people who can bring their own ideas to the table and solve problems in concert with the rest of the crew.

As this position encompasses many areas of expertise, training will be provided, but please do not apply unless you have relevant experience in at least one aspect of the job.

Compensation:

$21-$29/hr dependent on experience. Health insurance benefits & retirement plan with employer matching.

Responsibilities

This is a swing position with responsibilities that may vary depending on need and candidate skill/experience. Possible duties include:

Artwork packing at warehouse
Inventory control, logistics support (loading, unloading, measurements)
Work on-site at artists’ studios, client businesses, residences, etc.
Building crates & assisting in crate shop
Local pick up and delivery

Requirements

Candidate must be capable of handling delicate, valuable items with thoughtfulness and care
Must be able to lift heavy objects safely
Must be able to effectively communicate with the team as well as clients
Must be comfortable in the use of power tools
Must have clean driver’s license
Must be vaccinated for COVID-19
