Art Handler/Packer/Shipper for Pickup and Domestic Shipments.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Proper handling of art objects, including packing for shipment and carry out
Process shipping labels using USPS/UPS/FedEx software
De-install weekly/bi-weekly auction exhibitions & transfer to inhouse storage
Receive incoming packages and release to relevant department
Greet vendors, including building maintenance and outside art shippers.
Interact with clients directly and on a daily basis
Requirements
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience handling art
Team player who can work in a fast past and detail-oriented environment
Must be able to communicate effectively with other staff-members and clientele
Hard working and reliable with a forward-thinking attitude
Must have interest in fine art and historical objects
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
Knowledge of auction market preferred
