Primary Art Services, a growing, family owned, fine art transportation company located in the LIC area seeks a full time, experienced, professional art handler. The position requires a detail-oriented individual, who is responsible, dependable and has a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Proper handling of art objects, including packing, loading and securing for safe transport, both local and internationally
Install / de-install artworks on location
Receive and release shipments into warehouse facilities
Oversee paperwork, including BOLs, condition reports and labeling, to ensure records are accurate and well-maintained
Interact with clients directly and on a daily basis
Requirements
Candidate must have the following experience:
Previous experience as an art handler
Art installation knowledge with the ability to problem solve onsite
Hard working and reliable individual
Team Player who can work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
A plus being comfortable driving a 24’ truck in NYC
