Looking to add an experienced Art Handler to our team. Position will require 30-40 hours per week. If you have no experience handling fine art, please do not apply for this position.
Proper handling and installation of art objects, fragile and artistic material; using the appropriate methods for packaging, loading & shipping; securing for safe transport.
Preparation of paperwork, including bills of lading, labeling, driver logs, and detailed condition reports with accompanying photos if necessary
Receive and release shipments into and out of warehouse facilities
Load/ unload truck for safe transportation and storage
Pack artworks for transportation and storage
Install / de-install artworks for private and public viewings at private residences, businesses, and outdoor venues
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Item 1
Advanced crating knowledge; storage knowledge; ability to understand the unique vulnerabilities of the art or object
- Item 2
3+ years of crating, fine art handling, packing and moving
Seasoned, skilled expert in all aspects of fine art handling, packing, transportation; storage
- Item 3
Must have proven ability to work with team, clients & management; maintain confidentiality at all times
