Safely handle, transport, and install artworks, sculptures, and visual materials in galleries, museums, or client spaces

Prepare artworks for display by mounting or assembling as needed

Assist with packing and crating artwork for shipping or storage to prevent damage during transit

Collaborate with curators and designers to ensure proper placement and presentation of art pieces

Maintain accurate records of artwork movement, condition reports, and transport logs

Drive a Sprinter and box truck rentals safely to and from the job site

Use specialized equipment such as lifts or dollies to move heavy or fragile items safely

Support the setup and breakdown of exhibitions or events involving visual displays

Ensure all handling procedures comply with safety standards and preservation best practices

Prior experience working with art handling, installation, or in a museum/gallery environment is preferred

Strong understanding of visual design principles

Ability to operate various tools related to installation and art transport

Time management and prioritization skills in understanding the scope, implementation, and organization of the day’s tasks

This position offers highly skilled on the job training and a chance to collaborate and build relationships with established professionals in the art fields

Clean driving record and good driving practices required. Class A license not necessary. Prefer experience with driving a large transport vehicle
