Delaware National Art Co. (DNA) is fast growing art services company based in Clifton, NJ and serving the greater NYC area. We are hiring art handlers to join both our trucking and crating divisions.

Responsibilities

TRUCKING:

Following route instructions for various pick ups and deliveries each day
Soft packing, condition checking, and correctly labeling property
Accurately and thoroughly completing all required documentation
Assisting in installation and special projects
Safely staging and storing property at the warehouse

CRATING:

Reading cut sheets, and safely operating equipment such as table and mitre saws; nail guns
Implementing company standard design, building and packing methods
Maintaining the equipment and shop condition
Debris, sawdust disposal

Requirements

TRUCKING:

Experience operating (non-CDL) trucks around the greater NYC area
Valid drivers license and clean record
Relevant art handling, white glove delivery, and soft packing experience
Experience with various freight handling equipment i.e. pallet jack, J-bar, cargo straps etc.
Knowledge and education in contemporary art is preferred.

CRATING:

Wood shop, art packing experience
Forklift experience
Knowledge and education in contemporary art is preferred
