We are looking for reliable & experienced art handlers/installers to add to our roster of regular & occasional freelancers. We are a small, but well-established art handling firm in NYC looking for experienced freelance art handlers/installers to join our team. Gallery, museum, and/or art shipping/trucking experience required. You should be able to lift 100-lbs., be detail oriented, observant, efficient, discreet, and careful. Salary is commensurate with experience ($24-28/hr).

Responsibilities

  1. Assist company owner and lead art handler in the truck and on jobs

  2. Install artwork

  3. Pack artwork

  4. Complete necessary paperwork

  5. Liaise with office and/or clients when on the truck

Requirements

  1. Art handling experience (including installation & packing)

  2. Ability to lift 100-lbs.

  3. Punctual and reliable

  4. Detail oriented & careful
