Overall Administration:
Manage day-to-day studio operations and field all request
Update and manage studio calendar including studio visits, meetings, and appointments; oversee project and exhibition schedules to ensure deadlines are met
Work with the artist to determine and establish priorities and deadlines
Long lead project forecasting
Invoicing
Website management
Track consignments
Draft and proofread written materials on behalf of the artist
Manage inventory
Manage and track artwork database, storage, and archives
Maintain and restock inventory of studio supplies
Organize the studio space
Requirements:
Exceptional organization skills
Willingness to research, facilitate, and support effective solutions for studio and artist’s needs
Interest and passion for art
Basic Bookkeeping experience and receipt tracking a plus
Ability to anticipate needs of artist and studio
Understanding of painting and its process
