Teaching will be at the undergraduate level and include Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Print courses. The successful applicant will be expected to teach three courses per semester and contribute service to the department such as print shop maintenance, Print area governance, curricular development and other committee work that is critical to the mission of the area of Print, Studio Division, College, and University. Non-tenure track faculty are encouraged, but not required, to maintain an active professional practice.

The Department actively encourages applicants who are versed in traditional print media and who also have a strong interest in non-traditional, experimental, and/or digital processes. An MFA or equivalent and teaching experience are required. Ability/interest in teaching lithography and screenprinting is highly desirable. Additionally, the department seeks candidates whose prior teaching and/or service have prepared them to support the university’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
