The Hood Museum of Art, Dartmouth College, is looking for an enthusiastic and committed professional to join our team as the Campus Engagement Coordinator. This person sustains and expands co-curricular and extracurricular campus engagement by planning and implementing mission-driven programs, events, and initiatives that increase the museum’s interaction with campus audiences. They cultivate relationships with campus partners, including undergraduate and graduate student organizations, other interdisciplinary offices, institutes, and associations on campus. The coordinator supports arts and innovation projects of the museum and its campus peers and involves the museum in campus-wide initiatives and annual events. In partnership with colleagues in academic programming, education, and curatorial departments, they develop new visitor engagement opportunities and pedagogical tools including those for exhibition-related programming. They also manage the Museum Club program and run or co-run programs that provide in-depth student encounters with individual works of art including the Dance and Ames awards and a student art loan program. Preferred candidates will have at least 5 years coordinating audience outreach in a complex and active environment, experience leading programs, and some background in art history, anthropology, and museums.
