SCAD seeks a Career Adviser for its Atlanta location to assist talented students in landing creative internships and careers. In this role you will provide individualized advising, develop group workshops, and host employer recruitment events.
The ideal candidate has a student-centered focus, is passionate about career preparation, and possesses excellent communication skills, advanced levels of professionalism, and the desire to contribute to student and alumni career success. The candidate should also have a comprehensive understanding of the art and design job market, working knowledge of the career development process, and experience working with diverse populations. The candidate should also have demonstrated proficiency with information management systems and other Web-based technology and a proven ability to develop relationships with students, alumni, employers, faculty, and colleagues.
