Established and growing art services company and fabrication shop seeks a full-time experienced crate builder.
We have a cooperative and collegial work environment and are looking for someone who is comfortable reaching out with questions, issues, and suggestions as they arise.
Responsibilities
Properly wrapping items for safe transport
Building and packing crates per our in-house guidelines
Crate shop materials inventory
Warehouse assistance
Requirements
This is a full-time position with company benefits including; 401k, PTO, health plan contribution, etc.
Experience in fine art crating is preferred, but training is available for candidates with advanced woodworking/carpentry/construction skills.
Be proud in your work - Precision and care are required every hour of every day.
Qualifications include:
Two or more years previous experience in related employment preferred; shipping logistics, art handling, collections management, etc.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.A.
Ability to work to a deadline, with some overtime as needed.
