We are currently in the process of interviewing for an art handling/driver position. We seek applicants with at least 5-years of experience in fine art handling and transport. Your expertise is highly valued and will be a significant asset to our team. Applicants must also be self-motivated and comfortable working within a team environment. Our technicians must have experience working directly with clients and managing daily projects.

Truck Operation:
Operate a 16 to 26-foot box truck in and around the New England, NY, and DC Metro areas.
Drive long distances and/or participate in project-based travel, as required for client needs.
Art Handling:
Safely handle, pack, and unpack fine artworks.
Ensure the secure transportation of artwork, adhering to all safety and handling protocols.
Conduct condition reports and maintain detailed documentation of artworks.
Client Interaction:
Work directly with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
Collaborate with clients on-site to install artworks according to their specifications.
Address client inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the warehouse and crate shop teams to ensure timely and efficient service.
Assist in the preparation and coordination of art transportation and installation schedules.
Maintain open communication with management regarding job progress and any issues encountered.
General Duties:
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs as required.
3-5 years of experience in fine art handling, transport, warehousing is a plus
Proficiency in operating 16’ to 26’ box trucks
Possession of a current driver’s license in good standing, with a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) being advantageous.
Willingness and ability to drive long distances and/or participate in project-based travel.
Experience and/or certifications with industry-related equipment such as forklifts and gantries are a plus.
Knowledge of suitable packing materials and techniques for artwork tailored for both long-term storage and short-term transportation.
Installation expertise in handling diverse art pieces in varying environments, encompassing straightforward and highly intricate installations.
Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain accurate documentation pertaining to executed projects, DOT regulations, and warehousing activities.
Prior experience engaging and working with clients in face-to-face settings.
Acts as point of contact for warehouse activity and ensures assets are handled and stored safely and inventory is accounted for accurately.
Ability and willingness to provide estimates to Account Managers regarding warehousing activities and storage availability
Ability and willingness to collaboratively work with others to develop space planning projects in addition to training new employees in warehouse operations.
