The Marketing Manager, under the supervision of the Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing, leads marketing efforts in support of student recruitment, advancement, public programs and brand awareness marketing for SFAI. The role provides the opportunity to participate in the development and implementation of strategic marketing and communication planning for SFAI and serves as the lead on all matters related to digital and social media. This role oversees the design and production of integrated marketing materials based on SFAI’s visual and brand identity. The Marketing Manager also prepares and manages the central marketing operations budget.

Develop and execute on the marketing vision and strategy to meet institutional goals, including new student enrollment and fundraising
Oversee a variety of marketing projects and materials in digital and print format, web content and collateral
Track analytics and metrics related to the website and campaigns, including audience and growth to allow for data-driven improvements
Ensure accuracy, correct branding, design standards, and consistency across the website and entirety of SFAI’s collateral and communications
Maintain content management system and related databases
Develop content, implement and manage social media and digital communications in collaboration with the Admissions team in support of recruitment communication strategy
Provide data on social media performance and recommend improvements on an ongoing basis. Monitor SFAI’s reputation online, including website maintenance and updates, and coordinating social media outreach
Responsible for effectively managing the marketing budget and monitoring project timelines to ensure all initiatives are accomplished on time
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related, and;
Three (3) years marketing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Exemplary editing skills
Demonstrated ability to create engaging, informative, and SEO-optimized news stories, captions, web teases, and headlines
Proficient computer skills including web graphics, database development, Google Analytics, Hootsuite or similar
Ability to work as part of a team and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Excellent ability to interact within a diverse environment with a high degree of cultural competency and collegiality
Demonstrated ability to successfully supervise the work of others
Experience in or knowledge of an arts environment a plus
