Blum & Poe Los Angeles seeks a full-time Executive Assistant with at least 2 years of relevant experience to begin immediately. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, have strong organizational and multitasking skills, ability to meet deadlines, a thorough working knowledge of contemporary art, excellent written verbal communication skills, poise and discretion, and be able to work well in a dynamic, multi-location environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of Artbase
Self motivated, trustworthy and responsible
Reliable transportation and insurable driving record
Bachelor’s degree in Art History, Communications, or related field
Candidate must be extremely organized, detail oriented and possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ideal candidate is bilingual in Japanese
Multitasking is expected, and basic and complex tasks should be attended to with equal diligence and attention
Ideal candidate is open-minded and able to work well in a fast paced, high-pressure environment, as well as independently and efficiently on their own
Competence to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Prior experience working in a contemporary art gallery, museum, or artist’s studio for a minimum of two years is strongly preferred
Thorough working knowledge of contemporary art
A flexible schedule, with availability to work additional hours as needed
