We are government contractors applying for an exhibition bid in the D.C. area. We are seeking a contractor company with experience building museum exhibitions. The design of the show has been completed on CAD design.

Work Location:

The Creative Director shall primarily perform the work under this contract at their usual place of business but will also be required to report on-site for meetings, review of designs, and/or gallery elements.

Project Details:

Duration: 18 months
Monthly Workload: Flexible, in conjunction with the museum’s schedule
Presentation Dates: Eight firm presentation dates

Responsibilities

3-D Designer Contractor shall provide expert-quality, creative design services for the upcoming exhibition. Specifically, the role includes:

Developing and installing creative designs for a 3,700 sq ft exhibition space.
Collaborating with the museum team to ensure the design aligns with the museum’s vision.
Preparing and installing gallery elements on-site in a designated location under direct supervision of the Museum.
The museum exhibition will take place in D.C. area.

Requirements

3-D Designer Contractor shall provide the services of a 3-D exhibition designer or 3-D exhibition design firm

Five (5) years’ experience creating innovative exhibition case layouts, case interiors, labeling systems, and AV

mounts for museum-quality exhibitions
