Barry X Ball Studio creates advanced world-class sculptures fabricated to the highest standards at our state-of-the-art studio complex. We are seeking a Project Manager to assist in the production of sculptures and studio organization. Our sculptures are milled with CNC machines and then hand finished by an in-house team.

Job Duties include:
Oversee the general organization of the studio including all necessary steps in the production of artworks, internal organization of tools equipment and information.
Assist in organizing and implementing museum and gallery installations, including the preparation of outgoing artworks, organizing necessary equipment and work with partnering institutions staff.
Maintain a clear studio project schedule.
Clearly communicate production goals and expectations with outside fabricators and institutional partners.
Work closely with the Production Director and technical fabrication staff to complete projects according to schedule.
Applicants should have the following qualities:
Proficient in Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets, Word/Google Doc, Adobe Acrobat.
Highly organized, thorough, and detail-oriented.
High level of comfort and safety around heavy machinery.
Strong communication skills.
Someone who displays a high degree of initiative and self direction.
Capability to take instruction and learn quickly.
Experience with the following is preferred but not required:
Fine Fabrication experience such as machining or cabinetmaking
Knowledge of 3-D modeling software such as Rhino, Sketchup, Fusion 360
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Rigging experience
Art handling experience
Stone working experience
