Job Duties include:

• Oversee the general organization of the studio including all necessary steps in the production of artworks, internal organization of tools equipment and information.

• Assist in organizing and implementing museum and gallery installations, including the preparation of outgoing artworks, organizing necessary equipment and work with partnering institutions staff.

• Maintain a clear studio project schedule.

• Clearly communicate production goals and expectations with outside fabricators and institutional partners.

• Work closely with the Production Director and technical fabrication staff to complete projects according to schedule.

Applicants should have the following qualities:

• Proficient in Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets, Word/Google Doc, Adobe Acrobat.

• Highly organized, thorough, and detail-oriented.

• High level of comfort and safety around heavy machinery.

Strong communication skills.

• Someone who displays a high degree of initiative and self direction.

• Capability to take instruction and learn quickly.

Experience with the following is preferred but not required:

• Fine Fabrication experience such as machining or cabinetmaking

• Knowledge of 3-D modeling software such as Rhino, Sketchup, Fusion 360

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

• Rigging experience

• Art handling experience

• Stone working experience
