Arrow Fine Art Services is seeking experienced Art Handlers to join our Crating and packing team. Established in 2010 AFAS has continued to grow and establish itself as a leader in the New York art
logistics community.
We are looking for forward thinking full time employees to join our team. applicant should be someone with strong ability to problem solve and communicate with both clients and AFAS team.
Responsibilities
Duties include but not limited to:
*Safely packing fine art & furniture works for transport both domestic & internationally
*Completion of accurate paperwork, Labeling, shipping docs and packing lists
*Safe handling, packaging and movement of 2D and 3D artworks
*Communicating with clients and arrow staff about all aspects of the day
Requirements
Qualified applicants will possess:
2+ years art handling in residential, corporate and gallery settings
2+ years museum level packing of artwork for safe local and long distance shipping
pleasant demeanor with the ability to adapt to a wide range of working environments
High proficiency with power tools and basic carpentry
***applicants with the Experience driving a box truck is a plus
