Delaware Freeport (DFP) is a rapidly expanding storage company based in Newark, DE. Now with new on-site management, we are seeking candidates to join our warehouse team. Ideal candidates are team-oriented and have some fine art handling experience. Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Art Handling: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
Responsibilities
Storage warehouse registration and organization
Trailer, truck, and container loading/offloading and receiving/releasing
Proper completion of Bill of Ladings, labeling, and similar paperwork
Art handling, packing, installation
Condition inspection, photo and documentation
Requirements
Excellent communication, and team-driven attitude
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Previous experience and knowledge of handling, packing and installing fine art a plus
Forklift experience also a plus.
Physical requirements are the job include lifting objects in excess of 50 pounds and moving objects 150 pounds plus using dollies and jacks. Must be able to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
