Eric Firestone Gallery seeks Full-Time and Part-Time, experienced art handlers to work between the gallery’s locations in NYC and East Hampton.

Job Duties include:

• A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role.

• Experience driving a 15 ft Box Truck and willingness to drive between the gallery’s two locations, in New York City and East Hampton.

• A knowledge of proper handling and packing of art works, using the appropriate materials and standard methods for packaging, loading and securing art for safe transport.

• Installation experience of a wide range of art works, including artwork preparation, lighting and general maintenance of exhibition spaces.

• Familiarity with paperwork; Shipping Receipts, Bills of Lading, Condition Reports, with knowledge of Gallery Manager Inventory Database a plus.

• Professional appearance and demeanor.

• A demonstrated ability to function as a team player in a fast-paced environment, a positive attitude and a willingness to take on new projects as needed. Health insurance provided for a Full Time position.
