Entrepreneurial, industry leading fine art storage company is looking for a General Manager of Miami fine art storage and service operations. Candidate must be extremely organized and capable of multi-tasking. Applicants should be intelligent, flexible and well-poised, with ten years’ experience providing business management, customer service, administrative capabilities and general business accounting abilities.

A partial list of the position’s regular responsibilities follows:
Overall management and overseeing of all activities and tasks within the facility and the business.
Develop, lead, and motivate an effective team.
Effectively communicate with employees, customers, and vendors.
Develop a strong understanding of industry-specific knowledge and skills.
Overseeing the Services Team and ensuring they are organized and keeping on schedule
Work closely with the Building Manager on building maintenance items, vendors, improvements, identifying safety hazards, identifying areas needing upgrades, etc.
Overseeing all customer service activities including communications, daily activities, inventory inquiries, billing inquiries
Work closely with the office assistant and assist with back up as needed for various daily tasks
Assist with attending to various visitors – vendors, incoming deliveries, releases, customers, etc.
Maintain various databases and various management reports
Face to face customer service with high-end clients
Auditing and cross-checking various aspects of the business
Preparing work orders for various scheduled projects and receiving and releases
Managing the shared calendar with client activity, employee schedules
On-site estimates as needed for new clients/projects
attend various art events, museum events, etc. for networking and marketing activities
Basic business accounting tasks such as petty cash reconciling, bank reconciling, preparing work orders for billing, reviewing billings, etc.

Prerequisite: 10 years+ Experience; Bachelor’s Degree
