Responsible for staffing, budgeting, and planning of all Mia print, digital, and exhibition projects. Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 depending on qualifications.
In this role, you will…
Hire, train, challenge, assign projects and monitor performance of all department staff positions to ensure high quality and high effectiveness of all design projects.
Interact with internal Mia partners to understand project goals, problem solve creation and production issues, and communicate objectives.
Maintain primary project list of all works that flow through department, along with supplemental information (deadlines, required resources, external expenses, etc.) required for each project.
Develop and present annual department expense budget, as well as project related expense budgets.
Manage within the context of the approved budget and obtain approval for any over-budget situations.
Ensure consistent visuals and voice for museum projects.
Work with the team to evaluate the brand visibility of Mia.
Maintain and update Brand Toolkits.

Specific Requirements
BA degree or equivalent previous professional experience required.
Ten or more years of management experience in a creative and cost-oriented environment
Supervisory experience of creative staff.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Exceptional computer skills including Macintosh OS, Adobe, Asana and G Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively will diverse audiences.
